Swype – the custom keyboard, which once introduced the swipe typing mechanism that's currently famous in several Android keyboards – is available for iOS for a long time now, because of the undeniable fact that iOS 8 finally allowed 3rd party keyboards to become installed on Apple's mobile devices. It really has grown with the years in its own right, adding word prediction, dictionary personalization, and gestures for quick punctuation access. The iOS version will still be rather limited, when when compared with the features available on Android, yet developer Nuance is determined to grow it for Apple's platform.
So, Swype got an update, which ads 16 new languages to its iOS roster, bringing the entire number to 21. It'll now also predict emoji, along with words, utilizing words inside your text (supports only 6 languages - English (US), English (UK), French, Italian, German and Spanish). The layout on the keyboard can now be customized, using a choice between QWERTY, QWERTZ, or AZERTY, and there's a special layout for iPad, which should allow swiping to become comfortable, no mather how you're holding the tablet.
Swype App for iOS just $0.99 upon the App Store and is equipped with 5 themes. Unfortunately, there isn't any free version, like there is requried to be made by the Play Store, for undecided users who may like to try before they buy.
